Workshop host
The workshop will be held at the Federal University of Viçosa (“Universidade Federal de Viçosa”; UFV), in the city of Viçosa, state of Minas Gerais, southeast Brazil. The Conference building, “Centro de Vivência”, will host the workshop and has all the basic installations and facilities necessary for the success of the event.
The city of Viçosa is located in the “Zona da Mata” region of state of Minas Gerais, at 217 km from the state capital of Belo Horizonte. It has a high urbanization level and a social and economic life strongly influenced by the student community.
With a population of 70.000 inhabitants, Viçosa is the host of the biggest and the best teaching and research center in Agricultural Sciences of the South Hemisphere, the Universidade Federal de Viçosa.
The city is situated at an altitude of 649 meters above sea level and has a mild climate, which annual average temperature range from a minimum of 13.2ºC to a maximum of 25.6ºC.

Transportation to Viçosa
The city of Viçosa is located at southeast of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, at 217 Km from the state capital Belo Horizonte, 388 Km from Rio de Janeiro and 524 Km from São Paulo. It will be arranged an exclusive university transportation from the Confins International Airport, Belo Horizonte, to the Universidade Federal de Viçosa.
